Ironman 4×4 Suspension was the first company in the world to recognize the importance of greaseable shackles and pin kits. The reason for the introduction of greaseable kits was that polyurethane bushes will provide extra long life if they are greased.
Greaseable shackles and pins enable the easy re-greasing of polyurethane spring bushes.
All Ironman 4x4 shackles and pins are:
QUAD-OUTLET GREASABLE –
Greaseable shackles providing an easy method of re-lubricating polyurethane bushes. Quad-Outlet ports distribute grease liberally along the bush surface ensuring you minimize wear of the bush and maximize the serviceable life of them.
SERVICABLE –
All Ironman 4x4 shackles and pins feature a serviceable bolt together construction to ensure you can maintain them and ensure they maximize their lifetime.
ANTI-INVERSION SHACKLE –
On selected models Ironman 4x4 includes a third pin on our shackles. This pin is positioned to protect the spring in the case of an inversion.
